What's up, how are you? thanks for taking the time to read all of this. i'm Jojo ( she / her ), a black latina woman that currently is full-time in college, i'm also a pet & house sitter & i am an artist! i am 20+ years old & thoroughly enjoy on expanding my original character from external media of fantasy & horror themes, such as tv shows or video games, be it BG3, DND, or in general. Compared to my canon - character blogs, i will be more lenient with my original character. However, blog ettiquette will always apply regardless. I am a private, mutual - exclusive, & is a divergent BG3 / Forgotten Realms original character study of Venore Es'hart. I have recently gotten back into the DND / Fantasy space & / or genre, & simply with to express my take of what I've played & read about regarding the series he's placed in. My blog heavily centers around dark themes [ : ] such as gore, death, blood, descriptive themes of bodily harm, vulgar use of words, & trauma relating to Venore's history that has relevance to present time. I also discuss about Venore's violent urges / recent upbringing due to stresses that have become to establish later on in his life. That also includes the awoken instincts of a battle - driven Drow he has kept thwarted for many years now.
While I am private & selectively choose to be mutuals-only, most times, i don't typically adhere to it & find myself being the first to follow some blogs that interest me & look forward with writing. nine times out of ten, if i'm following you, i most definitely have intentions on writing with you & seeking interaction. if i am followed, i will need a direct rules page visible & would need some time to get accustomed to viewing your blog, mostly to ensure avoidance of the awful tendencies of being in the rpc & bots. i am within the right to block & soft block / unfollow, & it usually won't be the case unless blogs in my orbit have become inactive for a series of months or we don't ever interact.
I am definitely easy to please in this department but at the end of the day chemistry is important. This applies to both mun & muse. I’m very comfortable with almost all ship dynamics, more notably [ : ] platonic & romantic. This extends to both oc / oc & oc / canon dynamics.
〉 romantic shipping is not the primary focus medium on this blog, as i would more than likely prefer a more platonic or friendly means of shipping, so i can enjoy what i am trying to convey theme - wise in my writing.
〉 if you've only followed me for the intent to romance, it's like a toss of a coin-flip from me. as stated, chemistry is of priority & is equally settled between both writers mutually.
〉 i do practice multi-ship, but i also keep a ship exclusive to a specific canon-compliant or original character.
in terms of activity, quite sporadic & can vary. lately i've been moot & slowed down on replying to threads due to being quite busy with & trying to make enough income to support my family. i can sometimes be fast & reply to certain things faster than most if it's out on an impulse & fixates on my mood at the time. it doesn’t mean i’m any less invested in the threads that will post through my queue, which can vary between one to two at most. if i miss out on any threads or replies, feel free to remind me about it. same goes for actual replies, inbox messages, whatnot.

biography
BRIEF SUMMARY
Originally a spawn of the destroyed low - ranking Yril'Lys House of Menzoberranzan, Venore is best described as a flippant, smarmy, unconcerned individual lacking in ambition in areas of actually being of help to people, but does so regardless in order to gain trust of others weary of his presence. Venore is used to enduring all kinds of discriminatory slander because of his ancestral lineage, developing traits like becoming cynical, blunt & having an apathetic attitude toward the citizens of Faerûn.
IN DEPTH
Conceived in 1361 DR, Bhinfein was the name bestowed upon him by his House. The House in question, was known as the Yril'Lys within Menzoberranzan, a low - ranking family as opposed to the more prestigiously known & powerful estates in comparison. Since his infancy, he was raised under a Priestess & subjected to become an elite warrior serving under Lolth, taught fealty & obedience, & if he ever questioned her motives or wisdom, it was considered a sin. The Yril'Lys House was destroyed after the Siege of Menzoberranzan — specially the first Slave Revolt, which took place in 1372 DR. Venore, originally named Bhinfein, was eleven years old during this siege. Because of Yril'Lys weakened power & barely had the ability to fend off endangerment to the uprise, it met it’s fate.Houses typically kept slaves, & The Yril'Lys had its own fair few of them. Bhinfein was subjected two slaves of his own to accompany his needs. However, he befriended one who had originally came from the surface. Her name was Rashemi, & she used the chaos of the revolt to urge him away from the clutches of the Lolth. Bhinfein, young & who no longer had a House to serve, ultimately ended his devotion & to find purpose beyond the Underdark.He was renamed Venore, & his escape from the Underdark was a matter of survival than actual desire ( house fell, low-born who earned the ire of a noble, no longer had purpose, fealty to Lolth would govern him to death ), & he didn't learn about the society he was raised into became the hellscape that it was until he experienced the difference through the shared experiences of Rashemi. This would also lengthen when he’s reached the surface.Because Venore’s origination & pitted strength against weaker drow of his own kind, in a yearning hunger for strength, it aided him when he was on the verge towards his adulthood. He had managed to embody his rage to empower his hard hitting attacks, excelling when he notices something going awry within his surroundings. He had learnt that the surface of Faerûn had opportunities ; adventure ; sights to see.He subjected himself living in seclusion for a while, in an attempt of adapting to this foreign world, the light, & redemption. Venore made sure his efforts would pay off, the longer he had thrusted himself to keep traveling on foot. Far within the reaches of the Underdark. Gradually settling in an open plain within Vilhon Reach. A populous area that primarily consisted of druids. Living on this land had awarded his bloody temperament to be tamed & he could bear control over his homicidal urges. He’s become quite reliant on alcohol to calm his senses, although not the best decision in hindsight if he’s too inebriated.
